HVAC Sizing Calculator

This HVAC sizing calculator is designed for a modular enclosure designed in accordance with the International Building Code. It is not designed for structures that require occupancy permits. As such, loads are limited to equipment, ventilation, lights, and heat gain/loss from the external environment.

This HVAC sizing calculator provides expected loads for both heating and cooling duty. Calculations for cooling duty involve sensible and latent heat, whereas calculations for heating duty involve sensible heat only. Heat generated by equipment and lights are included in the cooling duty calculation, but not the heating duty calculation.
